Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Redeko (the iOS and Android app, the web app and the redeko.ai website) collects, why, who it is shared with and what your rights are. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible

2. The data we process
- Account: email address, or the identifier provided by Apple or Google if you sign in with them; app language; account creation date.
- Photos and creations: the photos you upload (rooms, facades, gardens, inspiration images), the instructions you write, the generated images, your projects and favorites, and your favorite style from the quiz.
- Subscription and credits: plan type (free, trial, weekly, monthly), credit balance, renewal dates. We never receive your card number: payment is handled by Apple or Google.
- Device and notifications: device model, system and app version, and a notification token if you accept notifications.
- Usage and diagnostics: anonymized or pseudonymized usage events (for example "generation started", "paywall shown") and technical error reports.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, or any photos other than those you choose to upload. We do not sell your data and do not use it for targeted advertising.
3. Why we use it

Your photos and creations are used only to provide the service. They are not published, and we do not use them to train AI models.
4. Who we share data with
We use service providers that process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: hosting of the database, accounts and files (servers in the European Union).
- Google (Gemini API): generating images from your photos and instructions. Through the paid API, Google does not use this content to train its models.
- Apple and Google: subscription payments and Sign in with Apple or Google.
- RevenueCat: subscription status management.
- Expo: sending notifications.
- Sentry: error reports.
- Amplitude: usage analytics.
- Vercel: hosting of the redeko.ai website.
Some of these providers are located in the United States. In that case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses, and the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework where it applies).
We may also disclose data if required by law or to defend our rights.
5. How long we keep it
- Account, projects, photos and images: as long as your account exists. You can delete a creation at any time.
- Account deletion (Profile → Delete my account): your account, photos and images are removed from the app immediately, then from technical backups within 30 days at most.
- Error reports and analytics: 12 months at most.
- Payment-related data: as long as required by law (Apple and Google keep their own records).
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Photos are stored in private storage, accessible only to your account. Internal access is limited to what is strictly necessary.
7. Your rights
You can at any time ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy (portability), restrict its processing, or object to its use for analytics. Write to support@redeko.ai: we reply within 30 days.
You can also file a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with the data protection authority of your country in the European Union.
8. Minimum age
Redeko is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. If there is a significant change, we will let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
